London Edge – the trade show for vintage and alternative brands – is held every six months in London. I couldn’t make it to the Spring/Summer event earlier this year and really missed it, so I decided to take myself off to London earlier this month and head to the Autumn/Winter event.
It’s a great opportunity to speak to the people behind some of my favourite brands and get a sneak peek of some of the beautiful things that will soon hit shelves (most of my requests from Father Christmas will be things I saw at the show!).
I decided to dress in some of my vintage finery and set my hair (using my faithful Curlettes), as I haven’t felt like getting dressed up much over the last few months.
My shoes are from Debenhams, my hat and bag are vintage (the bag belonged to my husband’s great aunt, who’d never used it. It’s very precious, and I feel very special using it), and my vintage dress is from Gingermegs Vintage).
Who’s there?
Lots of vintage and alternative style brands, including:
I’m already looking forward to the next one (although I’ll definitely attend with friends, as I got a bit lonely!). Look out for future spotlight posts on some of the brands I caught up with at the event.
