A vintage fashion and style sort of a blog, created by Carrie-Ann, a 1940s and 1950s fan from Cambridgeshire in the UK.
What do you write about?
For the most part, I write about vintage fashion and style, including vintage hair and make up.
I do also occasionally write about slightly more upsetting topics, such as losing a child, premature birth and pregnancy after loss. My daughter, Dorothy, was born at 27 weeks in 2018 and passed away shortly after she was born. My son, Teddy, was born in November 2019. All of these posts come with trigger and content warnings.
Have I seen you somewhere before?
Possibly. I also write for She Might Be, an online community filled with plus size fashion, beauty and other awesome things. Or we may have bumped into each other on the street (I was probably wearing a hat).
Will I like it?
That depends. Do you like reading about vintage and vintage inspired fashion? The 1940s? The 1950s? Do you like hats? Or perhaps Doctor Who (which occasionally makes an appearance)?
If you said yes to any of the above, then yes, I believe so.
This is one awesome blog! Look forward to checking it out more. I’m not a bride-to-be anymore (that was over four years ago) but I do love all things wedding, vintage, retro, unique etc. etc… 🙂
